The carbon neutrality strategy involves profound socio-economic transformation, aiming to achieve low-carbon or even zero-carbon emissions and carbon sequestration based on technological change, representing a significant opportunity for sustainable development

     The institute's mission is to actively respond to and support the national dual-carbon goals, gather resources from all parties to innovate carbon neutrality technologies, promote national dual-carbon strategic policies, cultivate talents in the field of carbon neutrality, hold carbon neutrality-related activities, and efficiently promote the implementation of carbon neutrality industrial projects, becoming an indispensable high-end think tank in the field of carbon neutrality

     Following its establishment, the research institute has collaborated with all parties to integrate existing strengths in carbon neutrality technology, forming a high-level research team dedicated to carbon neutrality science and technology research. It aims to proactively develop an innovation chain supporting the carbon neutrality industry chain, both domestically and internationally.
